The NYPD is warning the general public a couple of bicycle bandit who has been snatching smartphones out of the palms of unsuspecting victims in Manhattan.
NEW YORK CITY (WABC) — The NYPD is warning the general public a couple of bicycle bandit who has been snatching smartphones out of the palms of unsuspecting victims in Manhattan.
Investigators say there have been 5 incidents focusing on ladies on the Higher West Facet all the way in which all the way down to the Decrease East Facet.
In every case, the girl was strolling along with her cellphone in her hand, when the bike rider would journey up, snatch the telephone, and journey off.
Nobody has been damage.
All 5 incidents occurred on both June 28 or July 24.
Anybody with info with regard to this incident is requested to name the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). All calls can be stored nameless.
