Copilot will finally work when navigating sites or changing tabs; the fix is coming in January

Bing Chat has recently been renamed to Copilot, as Microsoft wanted a unified AI product across all platforms, but the name change hasn’t changed any of its features, or bugs, for that matter.

Bing Chat has recently been renamed to Copilot, as Microsoft wanted a unified AI product across all platforms, but the name change hasn’t changed any of its features, or bugs, for that matter.

For instance, it seems that for many users, Copilot often becomes not responsive when users ask it to complete tasks, while they navigate sites or change tabs in Microsoft Edge. The AI tool becomes completely bugged on this browser, at least.

However, it seems that the annoying issue will finally get a fix as soon as January 2024, per Mikhail Parakhin’s claims on X (formerly known as Twitter).

One user asked the head of Microsoft’s Windows and Web Experiences Team, his opinion about the issue, and he said Microsoft would release a fix for it, right after the holiday season ends.

For all of you wondering why is Copilot not responding, while doing other activities in between, you can now put your questions to rest. The fix is coming soon.copilot not respondingcopilot not responding
