Microsoft just released Build 23585 to the Dev channel within the Windows Insider Program, and while the build is quite small, compared to the one released to the Canary channel, it does come with some important reminders.

Microsoft just released Build 23585 to the Dev channel within the Windows Insider Program, and while the build is quite small, compared to the one released to the Canary channel, it does come with some important reminders.

One of them reminds Windows 11 users that now they can say goodbye for good to 5 long-lasting apps: users can now uninstall:

Uninstalling Cortana shouldn’t be a surprise, as the Redmond-based tech giant decided to deprecate it completely earlier this year, in favor of the new Copilot coming to Windows 11.

As for the other ones, users will now be able to completely uninstall them in Device Manager, and moving forward, they will not be reinstalled by Microsoft.
