How To Unistall a WordPress Inactive Plugins

WordPress plugins allow us to extend the basic functionality of the WordPress framework.  To unistall, a plugin you can simply do it from the dashboard. Follow the steps below to uninstall a WordPress the normal way without any loss of data and theme UI problem.

Deleting Single Plugin

The steps to the deletion process are given below:

Step 1) Navigate to “Installed Plugins” in your dashboard and click on “Deactivate” next to the plugin. In this example, we are uninstalling the Content Egg plugin.

Step 2) The last step is to simply click on “Delete” from the bulk action drop-down menu.

Deleting Multiple Plugins

The steps to the deletion process are given below:

Step 1) Navigate to “Installed Plugins” in your dashboard and click on plugin checkbox to select all plugins which you want to delete then click on “Deactivate” from the drop-down menu. In this example, we are uninstalling the series of plugins.

Step 2) The last step is to simply click on “Delete” from the bulk action drop-down menu.

That’s it, you can now install new plugins and deactivate or delete them later on if needed just follow the above steps again.
